Visitation Policy

At SERV, the safety of consumers and staff is always our top priority. SERV leadership remains diligent in monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in the United States and is following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the New Jersey Department of Health, the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF), the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) and Governor Phil Murphy.

During these difficult times, we recognize that visits from family and friends are essential to the well-being of the consumers in our care. We will continue to permit on-site and home visits as long as officials agree that it is safe for us to do so.

All on-site visits and home visits must be scheduled in advance. Visitors will be asked to complete a health and wellness questionnaire upon arrival and follow all of SERV's procedures for ensuring a safe environment. Anyone who leaves one of our facilties and travels out of state or attends a gathering of more than ten people may be asked to quarantine for 14 days before returning.

Please contact your loved one's program for more information and details.
